Recent M.S. graduate, Kat Wilson was the lead author on a study resulting from her M.S. work at the UF Geomorph lab, in collaboration with our colleagues at the USGS in St. Pete. In the paper, we present an updated Baysian model that incorporates the frequency and magnitude of natural and anthropogenic processes to successfully hindcast shoreline change and beach volume change at Fire Island, New York.
