On March 26th, 2010, members of our lab were fortunate enough to get a bird’s eye view of NASA-Kennedy Space Center and CCAFS from a helicopter piloted by NASA airmen. We took off from the Shuttle Landing Facility and toured the entire coastal reach and wetlands from above for approximately 45 minutes. This gave us an outstanding perspective of our field area.
